The Foreign Secretary condemned the persecution of religious minorities, as she addressed the International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a video message sent to the conference, that the voices of those persecuted on the basis of their religion are ignored “at our peril.” The two-day conference held in London brings together governments, politicians, faith leaders, and civil society, with themes including protecting freedom of religion and belief and preventing violations and abuses.
