UK primary school children will return to school starting March 8, with secondary school children returning in phases from that date. But secondary school children will need to wear face masks indoors if they can’t maintain social distancing. In addition, they will be offered regular voluntary tests for COVID-19 at school and at home. If found positive, they must self-isolate.
