Police officers lined the streets of London to honor their fallen comrade on Monday, April 10.
The body of Constable Keith Palmer, the officer fatally stabbed in the Westminster Bridge terror attack in late March, laid in state in Parliament overnight before being carried to Southwark Cathedral for funeral services.
While the hearse proceeded, police officers across the nation observed two minutes of silence in his honor.
Palmer’s name was added to the National Police Memorial, a roll-call of police officers killed in the line of duty.
Palmer, 48, leaves behind a wife and 5-year-old daughter.
