London’s Metropolitan police arrested a 30-year-old Birmingham man on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts in connection with last week’s terror attack on Westminster Bridge.
Police have arrested 12 people in their ongoing investigation, 9 of which have been released so far.
Attacker Khalid Masood, born in Kent, England, made his home in Birmingham. That city is the center of the investigation so far.
Anti-terrorism forces announced Saturday, March 25, that they believe Masood acted alone when he drove into a crowd outside Parliament and attacked a policeman, killing four in total.
ISIS claims responsibility for the attack; so far no evidence supports that.
