UK Prime Minister Theresa May condemns Manchester attack

Prime Minister Victoria May addressed the British public about the lethal attack at Manchester Arena which killed 22 people, many of them children.

She spoke on My 23 after attending a government emergency committee meeting.

“We now know that a single terrorist detonated his improvised explosive device near one of the exits of the venue—deliberately choosing the time and place to cause maximum carnage and to kill and injure indiscriminately,” she said.

The police know the name of the bomber but have not yet released the information. One person has been arrested in connection with the bombing.
