UK to Broaden Sanctions Against Russia

Foreign Secretary Liz Truss laid out plans in the Commons for tougher sanctions on Russia should it invade Ukraine. Under the proposed legislation, the assets of those in and around the Kremlin would be frozen, and they would be blocked from entering the UK. Truss called this the “toughest sanction regime” against Russia the UK “has ever had,” and said “nothing is off the table.”
