UK to Examine Excess Death Figures

Official figures show about 10,000 excess deaths since June. Some of them might be caused by delays in diagnosis and treatment during the lockdown. Department of Health and Social Care confirms early investigation suggests circulatory diseases and diabetes may be partly responsible for the majority of excess deaths.
