Feb. 24 marks the one-year anniversary of the Ukraine war. Russia’s violent invasion has had huge global repercussions for energy, economics, geopolitics, and the role of American leadership.
Of course, probably no country has been affected more than Ukraine itself. Over 300,000 people are estimated to be either killed or wounded, and millions have fled their homes. The country has experienced an estimated $138 billion worth of damage, from residential buildings and infrastructure to transportation and agriculture.
