President Joe Biden is appealing to Congress for more Ukraine aid, as well as to avoid a government shutdown. NTD spoke to Richard Stern, the director of the Federal Budget Policy Center at The Heritage Foundation, and a former budget advisor to Congressman Mike Johnson. He says that an indefinite amount of funding from the United States to Ukraine without a clear path to winning the war promotes violence without gains on the ground—while stoking inflation in the United States.
