Ukraine Has $8.6 Billion of Wheat It Can’t Export

Ukraine is calling on the international community to take action to unblock its ports and resume wheat exports to prevent a global food crisis. The EU says Ukraine is sitting on wheat worth $8.6 billion but can’t export due to the conflict. Ukraine was the world’s fourth-largest exporter of maize last year and the No. 6 wheat exporter.
