Ukrainian President to Address Congress

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are inviting members of Congress to attend a virtual address by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The virtual call is scheduled for Wednesday at 9 a.m.

According to the invitation, the virtual address is only open to members of Congress. It will be held at the Capitol Visitor Center Congressional Auditorium.

The invitation notes “great respect and admiration for the Ukrainian people.” The memo also mentions Congress’s intent to pass bills to cripple Russia’s economy.
