At the global artificial intelligence summit in Britain, Wu Zhaohui, China’s vice minister of science and technology, said all nations have the right to develop and use the advanced technology. He also called for “global cooperation to share AI knowledge and make AI technologies available to the public.”

Leaders in the intelligence community have sounded the alarm on China’s intentions, however.
