UN: 40 Percent Suffer Food Shortage In North Korea

According to a UN human rights expert, North Korea is suffering widespread food shortages and malnutrition.

While North Korea has a history of food shortages, the situation is even worse now thanks to a nearly five-month border closure with China and strict quarantine measures.

According to the UN, medicine prices are skyrocketing and some people have only corn to eat while others are starving.
