The 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation trade summit has been designated a National Special Security Event by the Department of Homeland Security. The city of San Francisco expects to have up to 5,000 police and federal officers present to secure the event, and prepare for possible terrorist risks. NTD’s Jason Blair has more.
