UPLIFT Act Seeks to Tackle Truancy, Juvenile Crime in Washington

Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser unveiled the UPLIFT Act on April 3. The bill would target truancy and would require more aggressive prosecution of juveniles who commit crimes.
