The head of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Admiral John Aquilino, met with Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo on Thursday. Aquilino told Kishida he is committed to working with Japan “to deliver a free and open Indo-Pacific and peace and stability and prosperity for the region.”
