US Allows Ukraine to Counterstrike Inside Russia

The Pentagon has said Ukraine can use U.S.-provided weapons to strike any location inside Russia from where Russian troops are launching attacks. Meanwhile, the United States says it’s halting all exports of Patriot air defense munitions to allies and, instead, rerouting them to Ukraine. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the move will not affect defense commitments to either Israel or Taiwan.
