A nationwide loosening of public health rules unveiled in China.
Among the changes, people sickened with COVID-19 who show mild symptoms can now quarantine at-home instead of isolating at hotels or quarantine centers.
Following the news, U.S. ambassador to China Nicholas Burns appealed again to American citizens living in China. He advised them to store food and water. Adding that it’s “obviously an uncertain time in China” as related to the pandemic.
