US Bill Bans Maps Showing Taiwan as Part of China

The U.S. House passed a motion on Wednesday regarding maps that show Taiwan as part of China—part of a spending bill for the State Department. The motion prohibits the department from spending “funds to create, procure or display any map that depicts Taiwan as part of the People’s Republic of China.”
