US Centralized Data Centers a Weak Spot: Adviser

The United States and its allies have issued a warning about a hacking group sponsored by the Chinese Communist Party. Australia’s cybersecurity agency has accused hackers, named APT40, of stealing passwords and usernames from two unnamed Australian networks a few years ago, and says they are still doing similar attacks today.

NTD spoke to Rex Lee, security adviser at MySmartPrivacy, about the biggest weakness the United States has in its infrastructure and how it could be improved. Mr. Lee also warns that these cyberattacks have an effect on the economy and infrastructure, and could even be a matter of life or death.
