Over the weekend, top defense officials from the United States and China offered their own security visions in the Indo-Pacific. Speaking at the Shangri-La Dialogue, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin touted Washington’s vast network of partnerships in the region. On the other hand, the Chinese regime claimed it is working to arm and provide military training to allies and partners, including those in the Indo-Pacific.
