US, China, Taiwan on Biden-Xi Summit

It’s the first time President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping have met formally since Biden took office in January. U.S. officials describe the tone of the meeting as “respectful and straightforward.” And China says the meeting was “fruitful.”
