US Disputes China’s ‘Strategic Dialogue’ Label

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet with top Chinese officials on Thursday. It marks the Biden administration’s first high-level, in-person talks with the Chinese regime. The Chinese Foreign Ministry painted the meeting as a so-called “strategic dialogue.” But Blinken stated, “This is not a strategic dialogue. There’s no intent at this point for a series of follow-on engagements.”
