US Economy Shrank 3.5 percent in 2020

The U.S. economy shrank 3.5 percent in 2020. It’s the first annual GDP decline since the Great Recession and the worst performance since World War Two.

But the commerce department says the economy grew 4 percent in the last quarter.

In other news, jobless claims dropped to about 850,000. It’s still historically high, but better than expected.
