The United States Special Representative for Iran confirmed on June 27 that President Trump’s sanctions are stunting Iran’s revenue. However, although the regime is feeling the economic pressure, it continues to produce uranium.

It is expected that the nation will surpass its restriction on uranium in the next few days. The envoy, Brian Hook, said that the best way to get Iran to negotiate is to increase pressure economically—a message he conveyed to European leaders.

Iran said it will not negotiate unless the sanctions are lifted.
