U.S. companies are looking to announce more than $1 billion worth of investments to the Philippines, U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said during a trip to Manila on Tuesday. This high level visit comes as the Biden administration seeks to reduce the United States’ supply chain reliance on China.
