US Hits Lowest Ranking in 30 Years in Heritage Foundation Rankings of Economic Freedom

The Heritage Foundation just published its annual index of economic freedom. The index essentially measures the ability of individuals and companies to make their own economic decisions—without the interference of the government. According to The Heritage Foundation, the United States has reached its lowest position on the index in 30 years, and is now ranked 25th. To find out more, NTD spoke with Joel Griffith, a research fellow on economic policy studies at The Heritage Foundation.
