The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, an independent U.S. government commission, holds a hearing on China’s military diplomacy and China’s overseas security activities from 9:30 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. on Jan. 26.

For China’s military diplomacy concepts section, the panelist includes Philip Saunders, Director of the Center for the Study of Chinese Military Affairs, National Defense University Institute for National Strategic Studies; Kristen Gunness, Senior Policy Researcher, RAND Corporation; Jordan Link, Independent Researcher.

For China’s Foreign Military Sales and Technological Acquisition section, the panelist includes April Herlevi, Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Naval Analyses, and Meia Nouwens, Senior Research Fellow for Chinese Security and Defense Policy, International Institute for Strategic Studies.
