U.S. job openings fell to the lowest level in more than two years last month, according to the latest labor turnover data by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The figure dropped over 30,000 to some 9.6 million on the last day of June, marking the lowest since April 2021.

Beijing’s top internet watchdog recently unveiled new guidelines for generative AI that will take effect in a few weeks. Beijing is steering its own AI future with a heavy hand to encourage Chinese tech success and ensure that artificial intelligence will not undermine the state.
