US Lays Out New Rules to Limit China’s Chip Access

The commerce department proposed new rules to limit the number of chips ending up in the hands of adversarial countries like China. That’s following the CHIPS act passed and put aside $52 Billion to advance America’s chip capacity, from research and development to manufacturing.
