The new jobs report is out. Much remains unchanged, including the unemployment rate. NTD spoke to a senior analyst who’s remaining hopeful for the future.

The U.S. economy lost 140,000 jobs in December. It’s the first decline in seven months. And the jobs report shows a 6.7 percent unemployment rate, largely unchanged from the previous month. So far, the United States has recovered about half of the 22 million jobs lost when the pandemic first hit.
