US Must Boycott Chinese Goods, Uphold Human Rights: Hudayar on Recession, Climate Issues

Chinese police stations in the West and President Joe Biden’s promise to veto tariffs on solar panels entering the country are two of the most trending topics related to China right now.

NTD spoke to Salih Hudayar, prime minister of East Turkistan Government-In-Exile, about his personal experience with transnational repression, and how he views human rights and climate arguments related to President Biden’s decision. To clarify, East Turkistan is the name the Uyghur ethnic group uses for its homeland. In China, the same area is known as the Xinjiang region.
