US Senators: Concern Over Debts to China

Senators have raised concerns over the way China’s making the world’s poorest countries heavily indebted to it. The U.S. senators say China’s lending is inconsistent with global standards.

Many countries including Nepal, Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Mozambique are heavily indebted to China.

The communist regime offered these countries loans under its foreign policy project called the Belt and Road Initiative or BRI.
