US–Taiwan Policy Needs ‘Strategic Clarity’: Maat

Zooming in on U.S.–China relations, Taiwan has become a big sticking point. Some on Capitol Hill are pointing to Ukraine as a lesson, saying the United States needs to focus on itself, rather than spending billions of dollars abroad. How would Taiwan’s future impact the United States? NTD’s Tiffany Meier sat down with Mike ter Maat, Austrian-School economist and Libertarian presidential candidate, for his insight on the United States’ Taiwan policy.
