xxA teen protestor hit a far-right Australian senator with an egg on March 15 after the lawmaker said that an immigration program which allows Muslims into the country is the “real cause of bloodshed.”
A video shared by an ABC political reporter on Twitter shows the Queensland Senator Fraser Anning speaking to reporters in a news conference when a 17-year-old teen from behind smashes an egg on his head.
Anning immediately turned back and struck the boy on his face before continuing to fight with him. The teen was also filming the episode on his phone.
Anning was held back by the security personnel from further hitting the teen.

The episode happened after Anning made the comment following a shooting inside two mosques in New Zealand that killed 49 people.
“I am utterly opposed to any form of violence within our community, and I totally condemn the actions of the gunman,” Anning wrote in a statement.
“However, whilst this kind of violent vigilantism can never be justified, what it highlights is the growing fear within our community, both in Australia and New Zealand, of the increasing Muslim presence.”
Anning who is a far-right independent senator elected in 2017, said the left wing and the media would claim the cause of the shooting to be lax gun laws, but he called this view “cliched nonsense.”

“The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place,” he said.
Last year Anning was in the news for calling for a “final solution” to end Muslim immigration. He was widely condemned for calling for a return to the “European Christian” immigration system and for a ban on Muslim immigration to Australia, reported The Conservatives.
“We as a nation are entitled to insist that those who are allowed to come here predominantly reflect the historic European-Christian composition of Australian society. Those who come here need to assimilate and integrate,” he said.
He had said that the migrants should embrace Australian values and English language and that cultural diversity erodes social cohesion.
He had said that the Muslim community “consistently shown itself to be the least able to assimilate and integrate.”
