A group of activists disrupted an Arizona State Senate session on Wednesday in protest against a proposed ballot measure to make illegally crossing the Arizona–Mexico border a crime.
The ballot proposal would ask voters in November to make crossing the Arizona–Mexico border at any location other than a port of entry a state crime for noncitizens.
