Video footage showing an airplane passenger using his feet to operate a screen has gone viral on Twitter, the social media website.
The clip was posted by author Alafair Burke, who wrote: “My friend who doesn’t have twitter sent this from her flight. It belongs on Twitter.”
It went viral after being posted on July 15, garnering over 6 million views within 24 hours.

Burke later posted more information.
“The photographer confirms that she saw him walk on and off the plane, carrying his own bag. He just likes to watch TV with his bare feet,” she said.
“Some people have read this and concluded that my friend is the person IN the video. Not even this ‘look what my feet can do’ guy is THAT dexterous,” she added.
A slew of users responded to the video about their reactions to the footage.

“People in first-class look at me crazy for wiping down everything. This is exactly why. Yuck,” said one.
“This is the most disturbing thing I’ve seen on twitter,” said another.
“And people look at me crazy when I break these out on the plane,” said another, sharing a picture of Wet Ones antibacterial wipes.

“When I take a flight, I bring a big baggie of Lysol wipes w/me, and wipe down everything I’ll be touching. Why? Because people are pigs,” said another. “Btw. Where were ANY of the flight attendants??”

Others referred to a routine done by model Naomi Campbell, who was seen in previous footage wiping down items on a plane with sanitation wipes while wearing disposable gloves.
