An attempted break-in at a home in Texas ended in police arresting four adults and a juvenile on Saturday, Nov. 18.

Footage captured by the home’s security camera shows two of the suspects, who were masked and appeared to be armed, attempting to break into a woman’s home in Killeen, Texas, around 1 a.m.

The woman and another man, who claimed to be a concerned neighbor warning people about a break-in in the area, can be seen standing outside the door. It then shows two males with what look like guns running up behind the man and waving the firearms at the woman.

Before they could do much else, the woman’s four dogs ran to the door barking—scaring away the two men, KHQ reported.

Once officers arrived at the scene, they found two suspicious vehicles in the area, according to Killeen Police. After further investigation, they determined that all the people in the vehicles were involved in the burglary and took them into custody.

The man who told police he was a concerned neighbor was also in on it, Killeen Police said in a press release.

“The incident was recorded on the home owner’s video surveillance system, and during their contact with the occupants of the vehicles, the officers were able to locate weapons as well as clothing items worn by the suspects in the video,” the press release stated.
