Video has emerged of actress Amber Heard in a deposition describing the violent fight between her and her ex-husband Johnny Depp, which led to their divorce.

“Then he threw his arm back and he threw the phone as hard as he could at my face. I put my head down. I said ‘you hit me.’ I was crying. I said ‘Johnny you hit me,’ because then I start hearing things being smashed,” she said.

Heard gave the deposition in August 2016. In it, she described the incident that allegedly took place in the former couple’s Los Angeles home. In the background Depp’s lawyer can be heard asking questions, while Heard’s lawyer can be heard asking if his client can get a break, as she speaks on the verge of tears, in a video obtained by Daily Mail.

Heard says that she told Depp that he threw the phone at her eye, and then says the fight didn’t stop. She stammers trying to remember what happened next, but then goes on to describe another violent scene.

“He grabs my head. Takes a fistful of my hair and says ‘I hit your eye. I hit your eye. Huh? Let me see your eye. Let me see. Let me see your eye. What if I pull your hair back?’ And he yanks my head back, and he’s, I don’t know, smacking my face or moving my face, or…and he’s got me by the hair.”

Heard also attached pictures to court documents, obtained by Daily Mail, showing herself with a darkened eye and a bruised lip, as well as a photo of a clump of hair she claims Depp pulled from her head.

“And I’m screaming at the top of my lungs ‘Help! Help! Please Help!’ I guess I say call 911. I’m screaming for help not just in case [friend] I.O. is on the phone, which I don’t know, because the phone is somewhere. After hitting my face I don’t know where it ricocheted and bounced off to. But it’s on the floor. I can only hope she’s on the line,” Heard continued.

She described how during episodes like these, security guards didn’t seem to be much help.

“But I know and guess security is somewhere, and even though they never respond when I’m screaming help ever…I’m screaming help as loud as I can and I also text [friend] Rocky, previous. ‘It’s amping up. He’s getting crazy again. I need you to come over.’ Because I thought another third party might be…a third party being present helps, always…to calm things.”

Depp filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Heard after she wrote an op-ed piece published in The Washington Post. In the piece she doesn’t specifically mention Depp, but alludes to what is known about their relationship, according to the Associated Press.

Depp’s lawyer says that Heard was the one abusing Depp, according to the Associated Press. The lawsuit states that Depp was dropped from his role in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film franchise because of Heard.

Heard played Mera in “Aquaman” and “Justice League,” among other film roles. She is set to play the Mera character again in “Aquaman 2,” according to IMDB.
