Video posted online claims to show the damage caused by a government airstrike on the Syrian village of Maaret Harma  just after dawn on April 18.

Maaret Harma is south of Idlib, where the government used chemical weapons to kill dozens of civilians, including dozens of children.

This attack used conventional weapons, but was still deadly. One man said the attack came in two waves. The second wave he said, targeted emergency responders.

“”While we were at the site of the massacre in Maaret Harma, military planes targeted the same location again, hitting the paramedics,” he said in Arabic on the video.

As he is describing this, a burning ambulance drives by, underscoring his words.

The video shows White Helmets, members of a volunteer civil defense group, digging and cutting through the rubble to recover bodies.

Some are put in ambulances.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based war monitor, confirmed that there were several government airstrikes on several towns in rebel-held Idlib Province.
