Violent protests filled the streets of Caracas with tear gas and the flame and smoke from Molotov cocktails.

National guard troops with shields and tear gas guns clashed with demonstrators in Venezuela’s capital city.

Armored cars rammed protesters and fired on them with water cannons. The protesters responded with rocks and gasoline-filled bottles

Three demonstrators were reported injured, one seriously after being hit by an armored car. Another was reportedly burned to death when a police motorcycle exploded.
