Some Chinese cities have higher infection rates than others. Now, truck drivers and other citizens from these areas are starting to suffer discrimination. Truck drivers coming from the country’s Hebei province or those with Hebei license plates are being targeted. The fear stems from certain areas in China being labeled as having higher or lower risks of virus infection.

The regime says around 100 regions across China pose medium-risk of infection as of Friday. Hebei accounts for half of them. One district in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, even has the current highest infection risk in the country.
