Sen. John Nichols Boozman (R- Ark.) questioned the Secretary of the Agriculture Department, Thomas J. Vilsack, at an oversight hearing held by the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry on Thursday.
Boozman criticized the department’s non-responses to congress members’ questions. “You all don’t get to decide what is efficient in expedition: We have the right to ask questions. We’ve got 50 outstanding questions…we simply aren’t getting the information,” he said.
