Chinese social media platform Sina Weibo is coming down hard on free speech.
It announced Monday that anyone posting negative comments on official accounts for government offices or state-run media outlets would be considered to be “stirring up trouble.”
After the announcement, Weibo rapidly suspended nearly 160,000 accounts.
