The Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA) is a bill that attempted to attach to the National Defense Authorization Act. After blowback from both the right and the left, the non-defense provision has been stripped from the bill and calls Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s leadership into question.
