Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, responsible for around one in every four deaths each year. But fear not, you can greatly reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease through diet and lifestyle changes. It’s important to get regular exercise and eat heart-healthy foods, and that’s not hard because all these foods are delicious. If you are well into your health food journey, you may have them in the pantry already. All five of the superfoods I’ll discuss today are easy to incorporate into your meal plans.
