House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R- Calif.) talked about The Lower Energy Costs Act (H.R. 1) at a press conference on Thursday.
“I’m not sure what’s controversial in the bill. I’m not sure what’s controversial that you can speed the process up so we can make things in America,” McCarthy said when he answered a question regarding the bill.
