White collar workers making $80,000 a year are most at risk of having their jobs impacted by artificial intelligence, according to researchers from OpenAI and the University of Pennsylvania.

They say Approximately 19 percent of jobs have at least 50 percent of their tasks exposed to GPTs capabilities and jobs that require writing and programming are what ChatGPT does best.

Tech professional Anthony Clemons, a teaching assistant at North Illinois University, does think there will be a reduction in jobs, but he also says that AI will create new types of jobs.
