Infrastructure talks are continuing in Washington, D.C. Senate lead negotiator Shelley Capito offered to add $50 billion to the Republicans’ previous counteroffer of more than $900 billion. But that’s not enough for the Biden administration.

At the same time, President Joe Biden is throwing support behind a Democrat lawmaker who’s set to mark up a $547 billion infrastructure bill this week that’s focused on transportation.
