White House spokesman Adm. John Kirby said Tuesday that Israel is taking responsibility for and investigating what happened with the Israeli Defense Force’s airstrike on Monday, which killed seven aid workers from José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen in Gaza.

Mr. Kirby said the United States will continue to send military support to Israel in its war with Hamas, telling reporters at a press briefing that the Biden administration believes Israel has yet to violate International Humanitarian Law in its war against Hamas.
